Thank you for visiting the PCT Library page. If you have a moment, please help us out by completing a Library Use Survey. Your answers will help us provide a better library experience for everyone. Thanks again!
Information Literacy skills are of vital importance to your education while you are here at Pacific College of Technology. Because of this, the Library is an integral component of the university. Making regular use of the library will make you a better student and will also aid you in becoming more diligent in your studies. Like many colleges in the United States, our library is cataloged according to the Library of Congress classification system. The Library at Pacific College of Technology has a wide selection of printed materials that address not only the curriculum but also leisure reading for students.
We also belong to the LIRN (Library and Information Resources Network) consortium, through which we subscribe to databases from Gale and ProQuest that further support the curriculum.
Please go to https://proxy.lirn.net/PacificInstOfTech to access these resources. Please speak to your instructor or a member of the library staff for the password.
We subscribe to additional electronic resources through GALILEO.
Please go to https://www.galileo.usg.edu/express?&inst=pcot to access these resources. Please use your username and password for Populi to log in.
Please know that I am here to help you. I will be happy to answer your questions, help you find material pertinent to your studies, and help in other ways that may fit your needs.
Please feel free to email me at debra.giannone@pacifictech.edu with any questions, comments, or concerns about the library or library services.
As much as I am willing to help you, I ask that you help me by returning borrowed books by the due date, and by caring for the library materials and equipment.
In Christ,
Debra Giannone, MLS.
Director of Library Services
